CGM doesn't improve glucose control in RCTs, but macro trends will likely push it forward

Hard-to-control hyperglycemia is strongly associated with worse outcomes in hospitalized patients in a multitude of observational studies. There’s no evidence from randomized trials that an aggressive approach to glucose control helps patients, though, and there’s some evidence that it does not:
